And this time, I want you to come exactly as you are.
This series is about so much more than learning a few sexy moves. It’s an opportunity to get back in touch with your feminine energy, become more comfortable and confident in your body, explore your own style of movement, and have a whole lot of fun discovering the art of burlesque.
Over our four weeks together, we’ll explore the foundations of burlesque, including movement, tease, musicality, stage presence, confidence, and expression, all while learning choreography for a complete routine!
Never taken a burlesque class? PERFECT.
Seasoned performer wanting to play, move, and get back to the basics? COME ON IN.
Nervous, curious, and not quite sure if this is for you? YOU ARE EXACTLY WHO I WANT TO SEE THERE.
You do NOT need dance experience.
You do NOT need burlesque experience.

And clothing removal is absolutely NOT required. Everything we do can be adapted to your individual comfort level.

Tassels for Tatas presents the October Weekend Showcase, a burlesque-inspired fundraising event supporting breast cancer prevention, research, and treatment. Enjoy exciting performances, community connection, and a night of entertainment—all while supporting a meaningful cause in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Burlesque Workshop Series | Saturday, October 24
Join us at the Lamphouse Theatre for a full morning of burlesque education, movement, creativity, and connection! Four incredible instructors are bringing four unique workshops designed for performers of all experience levels.
9:00–10:00 AM | Burlesque & The Law
Learn how state laws and local ordinances affect performers, venues, and producers, along with your rights and how to avoid common legal pitfalls.

10:00–11:00 AM | Working with Panel Skirts
Learn reveals, movement techniques, and creative ways to make your panel skirt an exciting part of your performance.

11:00 AM–12:00 PM | 60’s Go Go
Step into the Swinging Sixties with iconic moves, authentic styling, and freestyle techniques inspired by classic go-go dancing.

12:00–1:00 PM | Eye F*cking: The Gateway to the Soul
Explore intentional stillness, prolonged eye contact, and commanding an audience through your gaze.

Join us Friday, November 13th at 8:00 PM for a special edition of the Star Spotlight series celebrating the one and only Icon Nikk!
This show is all about ICON NIKK. Performers are taking inspiration from Nikk’s numbers, looks, style, personality, and unmistakable stage presence to create acts that celebrate, honor, and maybe even put their own twist on all things Icon.
Expect creative interpretations, familiar inspiration, unexpected combinations, and a whole lot of love for the star of the evening.

Impromptu Improv
The tables are set, the props are gathered, and the stage… well, the stage will be set as soon as I can recruit a few more helping hands.
If you’d like to perform, be here by 7:00 PM, dressed and ready-ish to perform. We’ll draw all of your prompts and props for the evening before the show kicks off at 8:00 PM.
If you’d rather sit back and enjoy the chaos, come on down just before 8:00 PM and cheer everyone on as they embrace the unexpected.
Admission is free, and while tips are always appreciated, they’re never required. Come laugh with us, support your local performers, and watch a night where absolutely anything can happen.

Tease, Twirl, and Strut
Come learn with me! Tease, Twirl, and Strut is a four-week beginner burlesque workshop running every Monday from March 2 through March 23. This course introduces the fundamentals of burlesque, including movement, confidence, musicality, and stage presence. Students may continue into more advanced burlesque classes and act development, with the session closing in a supportive class showcase.
