Angelena (Fanny)
Meet Angelena (Fanny), a vibrant force of nature. Her burlesque journey started in 2012 and has been nothing short of inspiring. As a burlesque dancer, Fanny has embraced the art of self-expression, captivating Idaho audiences with her quirky performances that celebrate the growth of her own self-confidence and cheeky creativity. Her passion for dance is just one facet of her multifaceted life though.
Angelena’s heart shines brightest in her dedication to youth. She has volunteered with multiple youth programs, bringing joy, mentorship, and guidance to countless young lives. Her commitment to making a difference didn't stop there; she dedicated four years to a foster care initiative, where she worked tirelessly to support and uplift children in need. Through her efforts, Angelena has initiated and overseen several state-wide projects(including Project P, The Stuff a Duffle Project, and an Aging out of Foster Care Youth Conference), each one designed to benefit youth in foster care, ensuring they have the resources and the support they need to thrive.
But Angelena’s talents don't end with her altruistic endeavors. She is a published pasties artist who continues to share her creativity and perspective with the world through her two successful businesses(Let’s Wandermore and High Country Foods). Serving up delicious meals across the state of Idaho and sending her beautiful handmade products around the world. Her hard work and dedication have been recognized with an Idaho Gold Star Award and multiple community awards, a testament to her impact and excellence. Balancing her life as a daily being and a Burlesque Artist has proven to be difficult, but she has proven that with some couth, passion, and drive, anything is possible.
Now, she’s embarking on her latest adventure—starting this nonprofit (Tassels for Tatas) to further her mission of helping others. Angelena is truly a beacon of positivity and dedication, topped with the finest of snarky sarcasm and the best RFB that is bound to inspire everyone she meets to make the world a better place.
