  • About Your Instructor.

    Angelena is the founder of Wayward Motion Co., a creative movement studio built on the belief that every body holds a story—and that healing begins when we learn to listen to it.

    A certified yoga instructor currently completing her Pilates certification, Angelena blends years of embodied practice with intuitive, trauma-aware guidance. Her approach centers breath, alignment, and intentionality, creating movement experiences that feel both grounding and expansive.

    With more than a decade in burlesque and performance, Angelena is also the creative force behind the studio’s signature Tease, Twirl & Strut series—where students explore stage presence, sensual expression, and the artistry of burlesque. Wayward Motion Co., however, offers more than performance training. It is a home for exploration, empowerment, and embodiment: a space where movement becomes a tool for self-discovery, reclamation, and feeling deeply at home within yourself.

    A grounded Taurus with a devotion to ritual, rhythm, and rest, Angelena holds space with warmth and openness. She honors the body as both compass and storyteller—inviting you to arrive exactly as you are, and to move in ways that remind you that you matter.
